One of my supervisors specifically told me, "Find me a Bulgarian to do that. Preferably a woman. Because we can pay her 10% of what a man would get." That's right... there is no such thing as sexual discrimination law in Bulgaria! It's perfectly legal to pay a woman 10% of a man's salary for the same work. I'm ****ing sick of seeing the Good Ol' Boys get ahead and the women with their nose to the grindstone making the coffee and scrubbing the dishes even as they get promoted. WTF has feminism done for us? Made us into sex objects? Is that all? I get paid shit even though I'm twice as competent as most of the men I've worked with. Perhaps I'm not a skilled negotiator. But I think there's more to it than that. Yeah.
